Gave rather dim light from start. After a month, light came on when switched on then immediately went out. Tmhis happened several times. Batteries showed normal voltage when tested with multimeter but immediately failed under load. Normally a pair of batteries lasts me 6 months. Forget where bought - possibly Tesco, Dumfries, Scotland. The batteries have expiry date March 2019.
