How to identify counterfeit Function 7 Billet Lower Control Arms

Function 7: Billet Lower Control Arms

Product Image

Product Information:

Designed for the extremes of racing use, all Function 7 lower control arms are precision machined out of 7075 aluminum for maximum strength and then treated for corrosion resistance.

Every arm is tracked in every step of the manufacturing process, and each arm is individually serialized and bar coded for quality assurance.

Some auction websites and online retailers currently have hundreds of parts that look like Function7 products. In the several cases, these counterfeit products, which usually come as part of a kit, were accompanied by photocopied instruction sheets that bear the old Function7 logo and company information, in an attempt to pass these inferior products off as official Function7 products.

Features:

- Aerospace-grade, oversized teflon-lined spherical bearings

- Aluminum CNC bushing inserts prevents rust related issues found on stock bushings.

- Modular design allows individual component replacement and makes rebuilds simple

- Stainless steel aerospace-grade bearing retainers.

Fakes Reported By Our Users:

Our users have not reported any counterfeit products

Warnings / Hazards:

Counterfeit products do not offer the precision, safety and quality people expect from Function7. In fact, most are poor quality parts and will fail safety tests by any standard.

Recommended Action:

If a part or kit is up for auction or straight sale at a price that's a fraction of what a new or used Function7 part would typically sell for, chances are it's not a genuine Function7 component.

Feel free to email us and we can help you identify what is a genuine Function7 product or what is a counterfeit item.
